J.E Nicholson & Family are proud of their sympathetic dignified and professional service that they offer families at their time of need following a bereavement.

Our telephone is manned 24 hours a day and we offer a 24 hour call out service 365 days of the year. Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays) out of office hours one of the Funeral Directors is always available for free help and guidance.

Funerals can be arranged in the comfort of your own home or in our office. Our premises include a private Chapel of Rest for you to visit your loved one at a time to suit you. (out of hours viewings can be arranged) We have a private waiting room for families wishing to leave from our address.

Our fleet of vehicles are the Jaguar XJ in dark Grey. 

Burials and cremations are undertaken in all areas we provide professional pall bearers, we can also offer a simple funeral traditional or green funerals and can supply any type of coffin. We can also arrange horse drawn carriages, floral tributes, press notices, catering venues, order of service sheets, brass bands, doves, any type of funeral vehicle, legal services, pre-paid funerals or any other service that is required.

We are members of the SAIF and adhere to their code of practice.
